Bromley Green Hall continues to get better.
We started by painting the outside walls then went onto paint the interior walls and ceiling, repairing as we went. Next we refurbished the Toilets, Lobby and Kitchen. The latest improvements are to the windows and doors which are now double glazed, and we have replaced the tables and chairs with modern, lighter foldable ones. These improvements have given the hall a brighter and roomier appearance and we have seen an increase in bookings as a result. Soon we hope to have the soffits and guttering replaced which will finish the external makeover.
Have a look at the pictures here and on the Bromley Green Hall Facebook and web pages to see the improvements that the volunteers have made over the last few years.

Bromley Green Hall - we need your help!
Dear Residents,
Bromley Green Hall, situated next to the playground at Carters Field, is in need of your help!
The Hall is maintained and funded by the Bromley Green Road Residents Association (BGRA), who have over many years worked tirelessly to look after and administer it as a community resource.
The original building was a timber structure, once a temporary Bank in Ashford. This was dismantled and re-built at
the current site next to the playing field by the Church, as a Mission Hall. In the early 1980’s the BGRA purchased the site and building, demolished it and built the current hall. Over time it has hosted many diverse events, but sadly age is beginning to take its toll. It requires some tender loving care to help it through another winter, but will only do so it if we pull together as a community to help it survive and flourish.
The Hall is in urgent need of:
1. Members - willing to join the Residents Association to help look
after the Hall’s future.
2. Money - fund raising ideas; Grant Funding -
Donations!
3. Materials - surplus paint, roofing materials, locks,
anything useful.
4. Muscle - help with the more physical work;
refurbishment, restoration, painting etc.
